Living Bliss: Manhattan Apartment (for a glamorous life in the city)

Candace Bushnell, the woman whose writing created the Sex and The City series, has invited Elle Decor into her Manhattan apartment where she lives with her husband, Charles Askegard.

If you've watched and loved the TV show and its characters, you really know a part of Candace Bushnell. Then, it wouldn't come as a surprise to see the style of her home is glamorous, decorated with antiques, vintage pieces, and feminine accents. The author talks about her style: "I'm the kind of person who would have liked to have lived at the Plaza. I love crystal chandeliers and gold leaf, velvets and mirrors, Oriental rugs and marble. I love things that are old and glittery, that come with layers of glamour and past lives." Professional decorator  Susan Forristal has helped Bushnell with the design.
